What will happen to my Krossover account?

You’ll still have access to your Krossover account and existing breakdown services until summer 2020.

If you’d like to be one of the first to get access to Hudl, fill out this form and Hudl will contact you with next steps. You’ll then receive a Hudl account with a comparable package. This means you’ll have the choice to use either (or both) product(s) until summer 2020, or until your existing Krossover subscription ends.

Hudl’s team of support specialists and customer success managers are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

How can I activate my Hudl account?

Fill out this form to activate your Hudl account. A member of Hudl’s customer success team will then follow up with you to field questions and offer a scheduled training to get you up to speed.

If you already have an existing Hudl account and need a refresher, you can schedule a meeting with Hudl’s support team here.

Is there a plan to discontinue Krossover products? If so, when?

Yes, Krossover products will be discontinued by summer 2020, so you and your team will have plenty of time to explore Hudl’s offerings and migrate your content to the Hudl platform. You have the option to use Krossover products this upcoming year, but we'd encourage you to activate your Hudl account to learn more about the tools available for you and your team.

Will I be grandfathered into my Krossover pricing? If so, for how long?

Yes, Hudl will honor your Krossover pricing for your upcoming season. Your new invoice will be a comparable Hudl offering and it’ll be discounted to match your Krossover pricing from the previous year. If you're on a comparable Krossover product that's more expensive than Hudl's pricing, you’ll receive Hudl's price.

Will I be grandfathered into Krossover’s unlimited storage policy? If so, for how long?

Hudl will not enforce storage limits for teams coming over from Krossover for their upcoming season. In the future, Hudl will work with you to get your video and data into their storage model and make sure that throughout that process you never lose your film or data.

Is there an easy way to move my video and data from Krossover to Hudl?

Hudl is working on a tool that will seamlessly transfer your data. If you want to transfer your video now, here are tutorials to help you get you started:

What will happen to my video after Krossover products are discontinued?

Your video is safe with Krossover until summer 2020. You'll have until that date to migrate any film from Krossover to Hudl. At that time, any film within your Krossover account will no longer be accessible.

Hudl will work with you to make sure you have all of the historical film and data you need access to. Hudl is working on a tool that will seamlessly migrate your data. If you want to migrate your video now, here are tutorials to help you get you started:

Will I be able to sign up for new Krossover services?

No. Moving forward, any new users will be signed up for a comparable Hudl package.

Will I be able to renew my upcoming Krossover subscription?

Yes. If you renew your Krossover subscription, you'll gain access to Hudl and also have continued access to your Krossover account until summer 2020. Hudl is in the process of converting your Krossover subscription to a comparable Hudl package. Hudl will reach out once that's done to talk through future invoicing and billing needs.

Will Krossover products receive upgrades and improvements?

No. We'll do everything in our power to keep Krossover products up and running until discontinuing them by summer 2020, but only critical stability issues will be addressed.

Is my renewal due date going to be the same? If not, when will it be due?

Hudl is in the process of converting your Krossover subscription to a comparable Hudl package. Hudl will reach out once that's done to talk through future invoicing and billing needs. Hudl is working to standardize invoicing to one of the dates below:

  • August 15th (Fall sports)
  • October 15th (Winter sports)
  • February 15th (Spring Sports)

If those dates don't work for you, Hudl Support is happy to work with you to find a date that’s more in line with what you and your team need.

I really like the Krossover platform–does Hudl plan to add any of Krossover’s functionality?

Potentially. We can't guarantee this will happen, but what we can promise is that Hudl is looking into what coaches loved about Krossover, and finding ways to provide the same level of value within the Hudl platform. One of the major benefits of joining Hudl is that Hudl can learn from what Krossover did well and use that knowledge to make their products and services even better for all coaches.
